Fashion Blogger Amanda Haxton Styles Comfortable UKIES Shoes With A Vintage Twist

After years spent working in fashion, and hours spent walking in heels, my feet have paid the hard price of uncomfortable shoes. I was so excited to try out these UKIES Tango Navy Suede Sandalsand find out if the UKIES NanoGel technology could help me solve the ultimate fashion conundrum: Fashion or Comfort?
Readers of my blog will have already seen my first outfit with these gorgeous shoes, which had a more contemporary look. However, when I first laid eyes on the Tango Navy Suede I had a special outfit in mind.
The sandal has a classic feel which reminds me of a 1950’s pin-up look, so I styled the shoes with this vintage blue dress which matches the Navy Tango so perfectly and is a really cute and bright style.
UKIES shoes are so classic, they’re also comfortable and I have walked in these shoes a lot and they have really passed the test. Although this is a summer style I’ll be wearing these into winter here in California where temperatures are milder. This style is gorgeous with dresses, but I’ve also matched with shorts, jumpsuits, and even jeans.
I find the UKIES designs to be timeless, they are the kind of shoe I can rely on. So many times in the past I have purchased cheap shoes on a whim and been completely unable to walk in them, so they never get worn.
The Navy Tango is made of richly dyed suede straps paired with a coordinating stacked heel. This is a sandal that will make any outfit pop and is comfortable enough to keep you dancing all night. The straps are very effective at keeping your ankles supported and they don’t rub or leave blisters. This style also comes in nude, black and red, and the sexy red version is high on my wish list. This is the type of shoe I would buy in every color available.
The secret behind UKIES’ comfort is in the brand’s nanoGel® technology. This is a dual layer shock absorbing and pressure distribution system. One layer works inside the shoe to redistribute foot pressure, while the other layer absorbs shocks from outside during walking. These shoes also breath really well so they don’t collect odor or become sweaty like some cheap high heels do.
